Things change all the time so what you thought about the real estate market last month isn’t what it is today and you may have been wrong about how you were thinking last month. Why? Because you likely didn’t have the facts. Maybe you were relying on what some real estate agent said at open house, or maybe you even have a trusted real estate adviser but in the back of your mind you’ve thought, “…hmmm, I never was provided any documentation backing up what my agent said…”, or maybe you don’t even know how to get the facts that will help you not lose tens if not even hundreds of thousands of dollars let alone the home you really like a lot. All of that begs the question then, “…How is the real estate market for Palos Verdes homes and South Bay real estate for the last full week of February?…”

What I’m going to demonstrate in the video below are the facts on how supply and demand “fight” against each other. If imbalance between supply and demand shows more demand than supply, then prices will trend in an upward direction. Of course the opposite is true. If the imbalance between supply and demand shows more supply than demand, the prices will trend in a lower direction.

The important thing to keep in mind is understanding that whatever the numbers show now, they will change. Therefore to keep tabs on what this means to you and the market you’re searching in to own your next home or the market in which you will be selling, what you will have to do is keep checking in to this blog site or use the Calendly blue tab link at the bottom of this page or the “contact us” tab at the top right of this page to get the latest numbers.

This would be a good place to add a disclosure. What I’m demonstrating in the video below is a “macro” view point of the real estate market for the entire South Bay area. You do know the 2nd oldest saying in real estate don’t you? No, it’s not “Location, Location, Location” … that’s the 1st oldest saying. The 2nd oldest is “Real Estate Is All Local”. Meaning what the supply/demand trends are in Manhattan Beach are likely not what the supply/demand trends are in Palos Verdes Estates. The information in the video below is critically important for “big picture” understanding but when it gets down to it and you want to know what’s happening in the neighborhood for your house that you will be selling or for the neighborhood in which you will be buying, you must contact me for the charts more pertinent to you. Without the facts, you’re just driving down the freeway at 100 miles per hour in the dark, with blindfolds.
